PORTFOLIOS

School and Future: Delivery of one-off or multi-year projects creating opportunities and better life prospects for disadvantaged children and young people in Benin and across West Africa through enabling their participation in a school setting to get the education they need to thrive (vocational school, business school, primary and secondary school, high school, special education, STEM education, higher school, health education, employability skills building, literacy and numeracy for learning and life). Furthermore, infrastructure, equipment, and training of trainers are part of this portfolio. School and Future is the project portfolio managed by the West Africa Children's and Youth Fund.

Source of Life: Implementation of one-time or multi-year projects promoting safe drinking water in one or more West African countries. This portfolio is operated by the Community Aid Fund.

West Africa Goes Green: Climate or environmental protection projects, actions and initiatives in Benin, Niger, Togo and Burkina Faso. The Community Aid Fund manages this portfolio.

Communities Without Hunger: With this portfolio, the Community Aid Fund develops and achieves food and agricultural projects and initiatives for communities suffering from hunger and malnutrition across Benin, Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo.

Elle: The Elle portfolio focuses on projects, actions and initiatives for the development of girls and women in central Benin. It is run by our special fund, namely the Girls' and Women's Development Fund.

Because We All Matter: Promoting projects, actions and initiatives related to participation, social integration, inclusion, justice and equity through sports, arts and culture, and civic engagement in West Africa. The Civic Engagement Fund and the Fund for Sports, Arts and Culture in West Africa share and manage together this portfolio.

Evidence for Economic and Social Development: Through the evidence for economic and social development portfolio, the Fund for West African Studies carries out economic and social research and studies projects in West Africa.

Healthy Children and Youth: The West Africa Children's and Youth Fund promotes healthcare projects and actions for children and young people in need through West Africa.

Handwork:  Here, the West Africa Children's and Youth Fund promotes all types of manual work by implementing projects, actions and initiatives in this area for youth integration into the labour market within West africa.

For the 2024-2030 period, priorities are given to portfolios such as Source of Life, School and Future, and West Africa Goes Green. However, other portfolios may be implemented if deemed necessary.
