CIVIC ENGAGEMENT FUND

When citizens are engaged, they can exchange ideas, invest in finding solutions, and employ civilized discourse to address the issues facing their communities. This strengthens democracy, and it also breeds personal empowerment on an individual level by helping people feel like they have a say in what goes on in their communities. By uniting under a shared purpose, we build trust, empathy, human connections, and a strong support base for finding and implementing solutions in our communities.

The Civic Engagement Fund (hereinafter referred to as “CEF”) is a tool for the Tabe Jeanne Foundation to mobilize donations, investments and grants towards achieving its flagship program which you may visit at https://tabejeannefoundation.org/detail.php?id=71.

Through CEF, the Tabe Jeanne Foundation works with the media, churches and religious communities, schools, youth organizations, community-based organizations and businesses, amongst others, to promote civic engagement across West Africa.
